Overview
To provide mechanical services to meet the needs of the board health care facilities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients, by delivering a planned maintenance, repair and installations service which represents quality and value for money at all times.
To provide a safe maintenance service to all plant, equipment and service infrastructure within the Board’s hospitals and premises ensuring delivery of all works to relevant legislation standards incorporating STHM 03 – 01-part A and
B.
- Provide planned maintenance, repair and installations for plant, equipment and service infrastructure within NHS Scotland Board facilities, delivering safe and compliant works.
- Ensure all works are carried out to applicable legislation and standards and represent quality and value for money.
- PVG Scheme membership or a current PVG record for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). If not currently a PVG member, an application to Disclosure Scotland and satisfactory verification will be required before taking up the post.
