ASA Recruitment is recruiting Domestic Assistants to work across care homes and public sector facilities throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
When you join ASA, you’ll be supported by a team of dedicated Coordinators who will get to know you, understand your availability, and work with you to secure regular shifts that suit your lifestyle.

Your Role- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lounges and communal areas to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, infection prevention and cleanliness standards
- Safely using cleaning equipment, chemicals and products in line with COSHH guidance
- Replenishing cleaning materials and essential supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues and health & safety concerns promptly
- Working alongside care teams to provide a comfortable environment for residents
- Respecting the privacy, dignity and independence of those you support
- Following all Health & Safety, infection control and workplace procedures
- We’re looking for reliable, motivated people who take pride in their work.
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or domestic experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, professional and compassionate attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good awareness of Health & Safety and infection control practices
- A full five year employment history
- A current PVG or willingness to obtain one
- A dedicated Coordinator who gets to know you and supports you throughout your assignment
- Competitive rates of pay from £13.45 per hour, rising to £16.78 per hour for qualifying weekend shifts after 12 weeks
- Weekly pay, including accrued holiday pay
