ASA Recruitment is recruiting Domestic Assistants to work across care homes and public sector facilities throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lounges and communal areas to a high standard
• Maintaining excellent hygiene, infection prevention and cleanliness standards
• Safely using cleaning equipment, chemicals and products in line with COSHH guidance
• Replenishing cleaning materials and essential supplies
• Reporting maintenance issues and health & safety concerns promptly
• Working alongside care teams to provide a comfortable environment for residents
• Respecting the privacy, dignity and independence of those you support
• Following all Health & Safety, infection control and workplace procedures

• We’re looking for reliable, motivated people who take pride in their work.
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping or domestic experience (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive, professional and compassionate attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good awareness of Health & Safety and infection control practices
• A full five year employment history
• A current PVG or willingness to obtain one

• A dedicated Coordinator who gets to know you and supports you throughout your assignment
• Competitive rates of pay from £13.45 per hour, rising to £16.78 per hour for qualifying weekend shifts after 12 weeks
