About The Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
• Supporting infection control and safety standards
• Helping with laundry and linen care
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home
• Assisting with tasks and working with attention to detail

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.

Some housekeeping experience is helpful but full training is provided. Candidates should be organised, manage their time well, work with attention to detail, and bring a positive, kind, and respectful attitude in every conversation.
