As Senior Project Manager ,youwillleadhigh-qualitycommunity-basedprogrammes,ensuringstrongdelivery,compliance,andmeasurableimpact,withaparticularfocuson

Sub-Saharan Africa.

Theroleinvolvesmeaningfulengagementwithinternationalprojectimplementers,governmentofficials,andcarbonaccreditationexperts.

Youwillworkcloselywithpartnersandinternalteamstonavigatecomplexsituations,supporteffectivedelivery,andadapttonewwaysofworking,whileupholding

CO2balance’scommitmenttodeliverlastingbenefitsforcommunitiesandclients.

Youareanexperiencedprojectmanagementprofessionalwithastrongtrackrecordofmanagingcomplex,multi-countryorhigh-valueprogrammes,withexperiencemanagingprojectsacrossthefullprojectlifecycle.

Youbringstrongorganisationalandreportingskills,newwaysofthinking,andtheconfidencetoleadpartnerrelationships,negotiatecontracts,andresolvedeliverychallengesinpartnershipwithcountryofficesandstakeholders.

Theidealcandidatewillbehighlymotivatedwiththeabilitytoworkwithminimalsupervision.

Theyshouldhaveabackgroundincarbonmarkets,thedevelopmentorenvironmentsector,strongdatamanagementandanalyticalskills,excellentcommunicationskills,agoodattentiontodetail,andastrongcommercialmindset.

Project Management

• Providetechnicaloversightandinputintoourgrowingimprovedcookstoveprogramme,includingrecommendationson
  
  FPICprocesses,communityinclusionandd
  
  MRV.
• Overseeandbeaccountableforthecurrentandfuturedevelopmentofcarbonassets(PDDs,exantecalculationsetc.)undercarbonstandards(VERRA,Gold Standard,PACM) withaprimaryfocusonimprovedcookstoves.
• Accountableforcoordinatingthedeliveryofpredominantlyimprovedcookstoveandsafewaterprojects,providingoversightacrossthefullprojectlifecycleandensuringstandardsofquality,complianceandriskmanagementaremet.
• Managementresponsibilityforasmallteamof Project Manager sand Carbon Project Officers ,deliveringstrongleadershiptoensuretheteamareproductiveandachievingpre-agreed targets.
• Responsiblefortrackingandreportingprojectprogress,takingcorrectiveactionandnotifyingthe
  
  Programme
  
  Managerasrequired.
• Accountableforthestandardisationofprojectdocumentationandcollateral(SOPs) acrossourimprovedcookstoveprogramme,providingsupporttoin-countrydeliverypartners,toensureprojectsaredeliveredontime,inbudgetandtothehigheststandardandintegrityachievable
• Accountableforteamstrategy,planning,reporting,riskmanagementandachievingindividualprojectdeliverables,advisingoncorrectiveactionasrequired.
• Responsibleforaccountmanagementandstakeholderrelationships,leadingonnegotiationsandcontractdiscussions,successfullytroubleshooting,andreportinginaclearandtimelymanner.
• Managecomplexandcompetingpriorities,whilstconfidentlyworkingindependentlyandescalatingrisksappropriately.
• Workwithother Senior Project Managerstoensurethatprojectactivitiesandreportingprocessesareconsistentacrossthecompanyportfolio .
• Closecollaborationwithcountryoffices,partners,andinternalteams,including the

  Managertoensuretimelyreportingtoclientsandthatcarboncreditdeliverytimelinesaremetandvolumesareaccurate.

Budgetary Control

• Workwith Headof Financetosetannualprojectbudgets ,managebudgetaryoversightandcontinuouslyassessprojectspendthroughoutthelifecycle.
• Accountableforthemanagementandreportingonprojectbudgetsandcashflows

Proposal sand New Project Development

• Workwithcommercialandsalesteamstodevelopproposals,schedulesandcontractsforexistingandnewconsultancyclients.
• Accountableforguidingteaminthedevelopmentofnewprojectideasandtechnologies,liaisingcloselywiththe
  
  Programme Manage rand Senior Management Team .
• Overseeandleadworkinggroupsonresearchingnewprojecttechnologiesandmethodologies.
• Preparecashflowsandboardpapersforprospectiveprojectsasrequestedbymanagement.

General

• Beaccountablefortheapprovalofallexpenses,holiday entitlement,sickleave,trainingplans,andPersonal Development Reviewsforyourteam .
• Attendprojectsitevisits,relevantevents,andconferencesasrequiredonbehalfofthecompany.
• Keepabreastwithdevelopmentsinthecarbonmanagementsectorincludingmethodologyorregulatoryupdates.
• Support the Programme Manage rand Salesand…
