Job Description – Regional Operations Manager

40 Hours per week – Competitive Salary – 10% Bonus plus £1,300 flexible benefits fund

Heritage Portfolio are looking for a dynamic leader based in Edinburgh, overseeing a venue cluster across the east of Scotland. The role includes managing a team of talented individuals and is responsible for a mix of events, fine dining, and cafes. It centers on service excellence and creating an exceptional dining experience at galleries, museums, castles, or gardens.

• Lead and develop high‑performing management teams
• Drive operational excellence across multiple sites
• Manage and grow key client relationships
• Deliver strong commercial performance and P&L accountability
• Identify opportunities for business growth and contract retention
• Maintain exceptional standards in food, service, health & safety, and customer experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a team in the hospitality industry
• Strong commercial background with multisite P&L responsibility
• Passionate interest in the catering industry and knowledge of current trends
• Demonstrable experience in a high‑volume hospitality and retail catering environment
• Competent communicator able to present to colleagues, peers, and clients
• Organised with excellent planning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e‑mail
• Proven record of managing operations, culinary, coordination, and finance teams
• Ability to motivate a team of mixed abilities and personalities
• Experience and understanding of event costings and design of events
• Experience assisting in the creation of a sales and marketing plan
