Job Overview

The Facilities Manager will provide support to the Contract Manager and Account Manager in the management and delivery of contractual obligations and client expectations. Monitor and report on Service Delivery performance monthly and ensure budgets are managed and utilised effectively to achieve overall contract profitability whilst providing the schools best service.
What you’ll do- Lead and support site teams to deliver outstanding FM services.
- Ensure contractual and statutory compliance across a portfolio of four schools within the North Ayrshire area.
- Manage budgets effectively to achieve profitability while providing the best service.
- Oversee planned maintenance, life–cycle works and subcontractor performance.
- Drive Health & Safety compliance and maintain strong client relationships.
- Produce accurate reports and monitor service delivery performance.
- Recruit, develop and retain talented staff while fostering a culture of excellence.
- A good general education with a relevant qualification aligned to Facilities Management and a demonstrable record of continuous personal development within the industry.
- Demonstrable success in a similar service environment and capable of delivering compliance in line with contract requirements.
- Strong operational knowledge of utilities and life–cycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem–solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with a performance–driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Flexible, adaptable and a team player.
- The ability to work on own initiative and to drive improvement and change as necessary.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and young people (Enhanced DBS required)
