• Provide leadership in project management for the delivery of capital projects such as hospital campus developments or primary care programmes under a framework procurement such as hub.
• Plan, organise and coordinate the capital strategy for NHS Lothian and the Integration Joint Boards, taking into account long‑term planning projections and changes during development.
• Manage all aspects of projects from business case development, specification of client requirements and technical standards, design, town planning, procurement and construction, to the operational phase, ensuring delivery within the scope agreed by the Project Board and NHS Lothian.

• Relevant experience in capital project management, preferably in healthcare, with a proven track record of delivering projects to scope, time and budget.
• Ability to influence long‑term planning and manage changes over projects that may span several years.
• PVG Scheme membership/record for the relevant regulatory group (child and/or adult) or willingness to obtain it before starting the post.
• Demonstrated ability to work under UK visa and immigration rules (legal requirement to demonstrate permission to work in the UK).
