As Business Services Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients, lead a team of accountants and support the current Partner. This role offers a platform to drive innovation, shape service delivery and prepare for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with clients, delivering tailored services.
- Oversee accounts preparation, corporation tax, VAT, and bookkeeping, ensuring compliance.
- Provide strategic financial advice, including tax planning and growth strategies.
- Mentor and supervise staff, fostering their development.
- Support business development and client onboarding.
- Contribute to firm‑wide initiatives via committees.
- ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent (qualified or part‑qualified) with UK accountancy practice experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations for small businesses.
- Excellent client‑facing and communication skills.
- Team management experience preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Proactive, commercially minded and aligned with values of collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
