Associate Director - Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) Edinburgh or Glasgow | £58,000-£64,750

An employee owned environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead and grow its Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) service across Scotland. This is a leadership role focused on service development, client management, team leadership, and construction-phase environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and expand the EnvCoW service across Scotland.
Develop client relationships and support business growth.
Manage and mentor EnvCoW professionals.
Provide technical oversight on environmental compliance, licensing, and risk management.
Support major infrastructure, energy, transport, and utilities projects.

Requirements

Extensive EnvCoW or construction-phase environmental management experience.
Strong understanding of environmental compliance and risk management.
Experience leading projects, managing budgets, and developing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Full UK driving licence.
