As
Head of Children's Transformation
- you will play a critical leadership role in driving Nottingham's ambition to deliver outstanding services for children, young people, and families.
As a key member of the Children's and Education Services Senior Leadership Team, you will lead strategic transformation across children's services, working collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to design and deliver innovative, high-quality services that improve outcomes and life chances. You will help shape the future direction of services, ensuring they remain responsive, sustainable, and aligned to the Council's vision, priorities, and statutory responsibilities.
We are looking for an inspirational and experienced leader with a proven track record of leading complex change and service improvement within children's services, education, or a related sector. You will combine strategic thinking with strong operational leadership, translating national policy, legislation and reform into effective local practice while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
With exceptional partnership-building skills and a commitment to child-centred services, you will play a key role in transforming how services are delivered across Nottingham, ensuring children, young people and families receive the support they need to thrive now and in the future.
You will hold a relevant qualification (at degree level).
