Associate Director - Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) Edinburgh or Glasgow | £58,000-£64,750
An employee owned environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead and grow its Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) service across Scotland. This is a leadership role focused on service development, client management, team leadership, and construction-phase environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and expand the EnvCoW service across Scotland.
- Develop client relationships and support business growth.
- Manage and mentor EnvCoW professionals.
- Provide technical oversight on environmental compliance, licensing, and risk management.
- Support major infrastructure, energy, transport, and utilities projects.
- Extensive EnvCoW or construction-phase environmental management experience.
- Strong understanding of environmental compliance and risk management.
- Experience leading projects, managing budgets, and developing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
