As Cash Team Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day management of our banking and cash activities, making sure customer payments are allocated accurately, bank accounts are reconciled, and system compliance requirements are maintained.
You’ll oversee daily cash balances, support month-end reporting, and manage the Direct Debit collection process for customer payments. Working closely with a Finance Analyst, you’ll help ensure accurate cash flow reporting for the Executive Leadership Team and Board, with balances correctly categorised and reconciled.
You'll also lead a team of four Cash Assistants, supporting them to manage customer receipts, resolve payment queries, reconcile complex customer accounts, and respond to customer queries through our CRM system. A key part of the role will be managing workloads, reducing unallocated receipts, supporting SLA performance, and working with colleagues across the business to improve and automate our cash allocation processes.
Aboutyou
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in cash management, banking, reconciliations, or a similar finance environment. You’ll be confident working with financial systems, customer account information, and reporting tools, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
You’ll be comfortable leading a team, managing priorities, and supporting colleagues to deliver a high-quality service. You’ll also be confident using data and dashboard reporting to monitor workloads, identify backlogs, and keep key stakeholders updated.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and customer-focused, with the ability to resolve complex queries and work collaboratively across teams. You’ll enjoy improving processes, finding better ways of working, and helping your team deliver accurate, efficient outcomes for customers and the wider business.
