Are you an experienced Nursing Home Manager looking for your next opportunity, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to take your first step into a Home Manager position?

We are recruiting for a Nursing Home Manager to lead a small, well-established nursing home in Edinburgh with a strong local reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

The home is performing extremely well, with strong quality grades, full occupancy, a stable staff team and no reliance on agency staff.

As Nursing Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the home.

You will lead and support the team to maintain the high standards already established within the service, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care.

Working closely with the senior management team, you will have the autonomy to lead the home, develop your staff and continue to deliver strong outcomes for residents.

• Overall management of the nursing home
• Leadership, support and development of the care and nursing team
• Maintaining high occupancy levels and resident satisfaction
• Maintaining strong Care Inspectorate outcomes and regulatory compliance
• Ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care for all residents
• Managing staffing levels and reducing reliance on agency
• Supporting and developing an established team
• Managing budgets and achieving financial and operational targets
• Maintaining the strong reputation and standards of the service
• Ensuring safeguarding, policies and procedures are consistently followed

• Experienced Nursing Home Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready for their first Home Manager position
• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with active NMC registration
• SVQ/NVQ Level 5, RMA or equivalent management qualification
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good understanding of Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record of maintaining and improving quality, compliance and resident outcomes
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• Strong communication, organisational and management skills
• A visible and hands‑on leadership style
