Our current portfolio includes five part or fully owned wind farm projects, each at different lifecycle stages. Our operational wind farms – Afton (100% equity), Beatrice (25%)– have an installed capacity of 320 MW (RRPL proportion), while our development projects – Benbrack onshore wind farm in the South West of Scotland (100%) and Inch Cape offshore wind farm off the East Coast (50%) – will deliver an additional 570 MW.

Red Rock Renewables has an existing portfolio of operational onshore and offshore wind assets. The Asset Management department is at the heart of managing this portfolio. The Senior Asset Manager will be a leader within this team, ensuring that the personnel asset management system for the development and management junior team members

The Senior Asset Manager is a prominent role in our business and will often take the lead for Red Rock Renewables in our dealings with project partners. The role therefore requires strong leadership, influence and the ability to represent the organization externally

The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for optimising the operational and financial performance of multiple assets in the portfolio whilst ensuring adherence to HSE standards. This will involve leading and managing the asset management team to implement work streams to seize improvement opportunities and mitigate risks.

Establishing the right relationships with key partners and stakeholders is critical to establish an environment of cooperation and shared success. The Senior Asset Manager will be required to assert influence and control to best represent the interests of Red Rock Renewables in a number of joint venture projects.

The Senior Asset Manager will also play an important role in potential expansion of the portfolio in future including the addition of alternative renewable technologies.

Accountable for the financial performance, operational performance and risk profile of the assigned assets. Delivering against the approved budget and targets for generation, availability, cost, risk and compliance and implementing corrective actions for material variances.

Lead robust stakeholder and contract management, maintaining and developing cross-industry external relationships to create value across the portfolio.

Lead and provide line management to the asset management team with responsibility for team member performance management, development and succession planning.

Engage in Asset Management decision making with a focus on whole life value. Establish Asset Management Plans according to the Asset Management Strategy and drive improvement against agreed asset KPIs.
