Who are we?
Howden is a global insurance group with employee ownership at its heart. Together, we have pushed the boundaries of insurance. We are united by a shared passion and no-limits mindset, and our strength lies in our ability to collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 24,000 employees spanning over 56 countries. People join Howden for many different reasons, but they stay for the same one: our culture.
It's what sets us apart, and the reason our employees have been turning down headhunters for years. Whatever your priorities - work / life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering - you'll find like-minded people driving change at Howden.
We are looking for a Manager to take on a leadership role within the Private Client division, providing strategic direction while leading and developing a high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the operational approach of the department, lead key client relationships, and contribute directly to the overall success of the business within a dynamic and rewarding environment. The role is particularly exciting as it will manage the unification of two legacy departments, Private clients and Rural, into one Regional Private Client proposition for Scotland.

The position is responsible for guiding the Private Client team to deliver outstanding service, maintain strong operational efficiency, and support sustained business growth. You will oversee people, processes, and performance to ensure strategic objectives are met, company standards are upheld, and the division continues to perform at a high level.
