Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Mechanical Labourers to begin work for a well-established company in the Islay area (off the west coast of Scotland) AND also across Scotland
About the role:
* Working Hours:
11 days on / 3 days off
* Monday – Thursday: 7am–7pm
* Friday: 7am–3pm
* Saturday/Sunday: 7am–3pm
* Pay Rate:
Up to £15.00 per hour
* based on your experience
* Assisting engineers in building silos for the food and drink industry
* Bolting metal components under instruction
* Labour-intensive, repetitive work – must be physically fit and strong
* Operatives must have a mechanical/building background
* Accommodation, food, and all travel expenses covered
* Transport provided from Edinburgh then transport to the ferry port (3hr drive + 2hr ferry)
* PPE
Required:
5-point PPE – Safety glasses, Hi-vis, Safety boots, Hard hat, Gloves
* Long-term work for the right candidate
* Start: 23/06/25
About You:
* High work ethic & team player
* Punctual & reliable
* You must be a time-served/qualified mechanical labourer or have worked in a mechanical / building background
* Physically fit
* Hardworking
* CSCS Essential
