Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking FLT Operative to support operations at a secure waste recycling facility in the Newtongrange (EH22) area.

This role goes beyond just operating a forklift — we’re looking for someone hands‑on who is happy to support with general yard duties when required.

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and offloading wheeled bins onto/from vehicles
• De‑stacking bins (from stacks of 14 to stacks of 10) to fit vehicles –
  full training provided
• Supporting the waste reception and yard operations
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures on site

• Valid FLT Counterbalance license (with recent experience)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to carry out manual duties
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑focused attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required

• £13.00–£13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
• Weekly pay
• Overtime available depending on workload
• Free on‑site parking
• Canteen and changing facilities
