Job Description
** Packaging Team Leader – Weekends

** Full-time & 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Available  
** Shift Pattern:
** 07:00–19:00 Friday, Saturday & Sunday  (Some flexibility required for occasional midweek cover)  
** Closing Date:
** 04th June

** What You’ll Be Responsible For
** As Packaging Team Leader, you will take full accountability for shift performance across your area. This includes production delivery, team engagement, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will:
* Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of Operators, Equipment Owners and Engineers
* Drive performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale metrics
* Champion Manufacturing Excellence and Lean principles
* Build a strong continuous improvement culture through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
* Own and deliver balanced scorecard targets for your area
* Shape and deliver the medium-to-long-term strategy for your lines, including Cap Ex and productivity improvement proposals
* Take full ownership of day-to-day “run” activities while actively leading “improve” initiatives

*** Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Strong coaching and team development capability
* Experience driving continuous improvement and Lean practices
* Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
* Confidence influencing across functions and building strong working relationships
* Energy, resilience and a proactive mindset
** Food safety experience is desirable.
**** FMCG experience particularly with bottling is also an advantage.
