Mechanical Fitters/ Fabricators/ Welders
Location:
Edinburgh, at our modern manufacturing facility.
- Personal and team safety.
- Maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and work areas.
- Reading construction and steel detailing drawings.
- Steel beam and purlin structural assembly.
- MIG welding.
- Erect portal frames, wall frames and roof trusses.
- Assist installation of insulation, sarking, cladding and flashings.
- Grid mesh and handrail install.
- Quality inspections.
- White Card (essential).
- Capable of passing a 4G FCAW weld test (Welders).
- Trade Certificate (where applicable).
- Rigging Ticket (desirable).
- Structural welding, construction experience (essential).
- Capable of welding MMAW & FCAW processes (essential).
- Skilled mechanical including sheeting.
- Previous transportable building / Switch room & Kiosk construction (manufacturing) experience (highly desirable).
