. We are currently looking for a Marketing Director to join our in‑house Marketing Team spread across the UK & Netherlands. As a key member of the RPS Services business, your role as Marketing Director is to lead the marketing and communications function in the execution of both external marketing strategies and internal communication plans.

The RPS Services Marketing Team operates across the UK & Netherlands. The team manages internal communications, media, campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR, working alongside our technical specialists in our Water Consultancy, Laboratories, Occupational Health, and Asset, Survey & Inspection Teams.

The role ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels, aligning marketing efforts with organisational goals and fostering a positive internal culture. It is a blend of tactical response and long‑term strategy, partnering with executive leadership to drive new and innovative solutions for growth and profitability. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in digital‑first environments and those who have operated across the EMEA region
. A background in professional services or consultancy‑led businesses is highly desirable.

• Overall responsibility for the marketing team within RKS, internal communications media within RKS and for the business specific marketing strategy, plans, projects and campaigns
• Identify and oversee implementation of marketing initiatives through execution of campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR.
• Support development of value propositions for campaigns, bids and proposals.
• Increase awareness of the organisation by setting and managing social media/digital communication strategy to build awareness, engagement and community.
• In collaboration with marketing leaders across the Tetra Tech portfolio, oversee and innovate with digital marketing channels and websites to optimise the brand potential and ensure advocacy for the needs and position of the Services Business.
• You will Lead and develop a high‑performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• You will drive continuous analysis of competitive environment and market trends.
• You will Implement a data driven approach to refine strategies and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
• You will present monthly performance narratives to executive leadership, tying initiatives to ROI.
• You will set and manage departmental budget in line with forecast and strategy
• You will foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders across regions, driving thought leadership and content creation in support of marketing strategy.
• You will oversee maintenance of internal communications media, and content creation in support of internal messaging.
• You will oversee the growth and structuring of the marketing team to support business objectives.
• You will Lead a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results‑driven execution

• You will have experience of leading teams across geographical regions (Dutch or European experience preferred)
• You will have substantial marketing leadership experience, ideally within a professional services or consultancy‑led environment
• You will bring a strong digital marketing background, with proven success in EMEA markets
• You will have a deep and current understanding of digital technologies, media tools and emerging innovations
• You will be adept strategist but comfortable being hands on
• You will have strong numerical and analytical skills to measure activity and drive performance.
• You will have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal English.
• You will have experience working within a portfolio or matrix business

• Professional Qualification in Marketing and/or communication
• Dutch speaker is desirable but not essential
