We are looking for an experienced and motivated Marketing Executive.
We see this role as being full time. Ideally, we would like this role to be based in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis to allow for regular interaction with the wider business and colleagues in other departments.

What you will doThe Marketing Executive will support the delivery of Bright Ascension’s marketing strategy through strong day-to-day execution and operational ownership. This role focuses on practical delivery of multi-channel marketing activities and campaigns, supporting inbound and lead generation initiatives, and coordinating the company’s event participation.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute and coordinate marketing activity in line with the overall marketing and sales strategy set by the Marketing Manager
- Plan, execute, and analyse multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation
- Support lead generation and nurturing activity through campaign execution and close collaboration with the sales team
- Plan, manage, and deliver the company’s participation in trade shows, conferences, webinars, and industry events
- Develop and coordinate marketing content including case studies, brochures, sales presentations, and website content
- Manage and optimise digital marketing channels including the website, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms
- Track and report on marketing performance and KPIs, ensuring insight is fed back to support continuous improvement
Essential skills & experience
We see experience with the following as essential to the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Solid commercial experience in B2B marketing (agency or in-house)
- Strong understanding of lead generation, funnels, and sales enablement
- Proven experience with digital marketing tools (CRM, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, management, and coordination
- Proven ability to create marketing assets using graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

We think that the following skills would be valuable in this role:
- Practical understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices
- Previous experience working in a B2B technology or software environment
- Practical application and techniques in marketing automation platforms
