Academic Families is a specialist international education consultancy helping families find the right international education for their children. We work globally, and specifically across SE Asia, LATAM, and East Africa, supporting students and families through every step of their admissions and UK guardianship journey.
We’re growing, and we’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager to lead our marketing function and take it to the next level.
OpportunityThis is a hands‑on leadership role with genuine breadth. You’ll own the full marketing function; strategy, campaigns, paid media, Hub Spot CRM, website internationalisation, and team management; working closely with regional business development colleagues across international markets.
You’ll line manage a Marketing Content and Design Executive and a Design and Content Apprentice, and will take on paid media and CRM responsibilities currently held within our regional team as we grow.
What you’ll do- Lead marketing strategy and delivery across SE Asia, LATAM, and East Africa
- Own global paid advertising across Google, Meta, and Linked In
- Manage Hub Spot as our central marketing platform, automation, lead nurturing, and analytics
- Lead the internationalisation and localisation of our Word Press website
- Oversee all digital channels; email, social, AEO/SEO, and web content
- Line manage and develop the Content Executive and Design Apprentice
- Report on marketing performance and MQLs to senior leadership
- Proven marketing management experience, ideally in education, professional services, or B2B/B2C
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of paid media (Google, Meta, Linked In) and Hub Spot
- Excellent understanding of AEO/SEO, content strategy, and digital campaign delivery
- Commercial mindset with ability to track and communicate ROI
- Collaborative style with confidence to provide direction across a small, international team
- Experience with or interest in international markets is a strong advantage
- A genuinely international role working across three regions
- Real ownership of the marketing function; this isn’t a support role
- A close‑knit, ambitious team where your work directly shapes business growth
- Salary £42,000 — £50,000, Edinburgh-based
