Event Officer

Are you an organised and creative events professional who enjoys bringing people together, managing successful events, and creating engaging marketing campaigns?

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected membership organisation seeking an Events, Marketing & Social Media Officer to play a key role in delivering a varied programme of industry events while leading marketing and social media activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, collaborative team where you'll have genuine ownership of projects, build relationships with leading businesses, and help shape high-profile events across Scotland.

This is a broad and varied position combining:

• Planning and delivering a calendar of professional events
• Developing marketing campaigns to promote events and engagement
• Liaising with venues, speakers, suppliers and industry partners
• Supporting sponsorship activity and commercial event opportunities
• Analysing campaign performance to continually improve engagement

No two weeks are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, taking ownership, and seeing projects through from concept to delivery.

• Previous experience planning and delivering events
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience managing business social media platforms
• Confidence building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools
• The ability to prioritise multiple projects and work to deadlines
• A positive, proactive and professional approach

• Salary of £30,000
