JOB PURPOSEA key member of the marketing team, the Events & Sponsorship Assistant will play an important supporting role in the firm's events activity.
This is a busy role offering lots of variety and development so the successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise a demanding workload and proactively deliver exceptional results. The role holder will work closely with the events team as well as other business development and marketing professionals, partners and lawyers to ensure the events activities of the firm are consistent and successfully co-ordinated.
The successful candidate will be confident, organised and capable of developing strong working relationships with colleagues across the firm.
This position can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with travel to our other offices as required. The nature of the role means the candidate will be required to work at events which can take place in the early morning or evening.
CORE TASKS Seminar, webinar and event assistance- Work as part of a team to deliver the Brodies Training Programme – leading on event/webinar administration and client registrations and the delivery of webinar broadcasts: briefing speakers, sharing slides and recording webinars.
- Quarterly evaluations and monthly Board performance reporting on webinar, seminar and event activity including CRM invite and follow up mailing engagement, client satisfaction and on-demand viewing, working with team to analyse findings.
- Administration of firm Zoom licences to ensure no overlap on webinar set ups and broadcasts across the programme and oversee account related billing.
- Lead on creation of 'On Demand' webinar content including drafting edit time code briefings for recordings, upload recordings to Brodies' You Tube channel and Brodies website as insight articles.
- Support delivery of firmwide event activity, corporate memberships and firmwide sponsor ships through assisting with research and coordination, supplier contracting and liaison and exploring new event or sponsorship concepts.
- Coordination of all branded collateral for events and seminars - presentations, delegate badges, banners, handouts and delegate packs.
- Key responsibility for handling the events and seminars inboxes as the first point of contact for delegate enquiries.
- Assisting with the co-ordination of speaker presentations for all events – ensuring interesting content, creative design and consistent formatting with Brodies style.
