Eden Scott is delighted to be working with The DRG, a Scottish owned fast- growing, independent hospitality group with a portfolio of restaurants situated in Scotland and the North of England.
They have a robust sized marketing team and looking to add an experienced individual who will support the Head of Marketing in delivering the sales and marketing strategy for allocated brands. You will be responsible for managing the fast-paced project, promotions and timelines for campaigns, ensuring the team are on track with content and stakeholders are timeously aware of campaigns and promotions within their restaurant locations.
Location: Split between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with regular travel across venues
We're looking for an experienced Brand Manager to take ownership of the marketing for Café Andaluz and Cadiz, supporting eight venues across the portfolio.
This is a particularly hands-on role, and it's important that we attract someone who is genuinely passionate about hospitality and enjoys being out in the restaurants, rather than someone looking for a predominantly desk-based marketing position.
The role will work very closely with their Operations Manager, identifying commercial opportunities at venue level and translating these into practical marketing activity that drives footfall, covers and revenue.
The role reports into our Head of Marketing and will work alongside their wider central marketing and creative teams. You will also line manage a marketing executive.
This is a very fast paced, but exciting environment to work. It’s a family-owned business with a proven track record. They have 11 brands to manage, meaning an interesting and varied workload. There is never a dull day!
Skills and experience required:
- Strong hospitality or multi-site marketing experience, ideally within restaurants, F&B or a similarly fast-paced environment.
- A good balance of creative flair and commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of how marketing activity translates into revenue.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, comfortable spending time in venues, building relationships with operational teams and making things happen.
- Experience delivering local marketing initiatives, events, partnerships and campaigns, alongside broader brand marketing activity.
- The confidence to take ownership, challenge ideas constructively and work independently while remaining closely aligned with the wider Commercial team.
- Personality and cultural fit will be particularly important for this role. We need someone energetic, personable and commercially curious, who can build credibility with our operational teams and become a genuine extension of the restaurants.
What they offer in return:
- Salary DOE
- Generous team discount across 24 restaurants
- Continual personal development and industry recognised training opportunities.
- Chartered Institute of Marketing Affiliate membership with access to CPD programme, training and industry insights & trends
- Cycle to work scheme
- A great, friendly team environment
- Easy to access city centre office location
