Head of strategy and INcome Generation

Location: Working between the SYP Office and hybrid

Contract: Fixed term until 31st December 2027 (with the possibility of extension) (secondments considered)

Working Hours: We would consider part time or full time (21, 28 or 35 hours per week)

SYP provides a national platform for young people to discuss the issues that are important to them, and campaign for changes to the nation that they live in. We support our members in their work by training them, supporting their personal development, and empowering them, using a youth work ethos.

About the role:

The Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP) is looking for a new strategic, values-led leader who can help shape, develop and implement SYP’s strategic direction and income generation. Specifically, SYP’s new strategic plan and create an ambitious, values-driven and sustainable income generation strategy for SYP’s future.

This role will support our organisational resilience, recognising the tried-and-tested SYP offer and creating innovation and new opportunities, ideas, and partnerships that support our core work, values, and strategic direction.

This role will work closely with the CEO, board and Senior Management Team and offer the post holder a creative, supportive yet challenging opportunity to deliver and create a more sustainable organisation.
