Event Well is looking for a Grant Funding Coordinator to help us identify and apply for funding that supports our social impact work.
The role is ideal for someone interested in the VCSE sector who enjoys research, organisation and supporting meaningful projects.

We design and deliver sensory-safe spaces, mental health first aid support and calm environments at conferences, exhibitions and festivals across the UK.
Our work is focused on making events more accessible for neurodivergent individuals and anyone experiencing overwhelm, anxiety or sensory overload.
Event Well reinvests its net profits into community initiatives, including:
- Quiet and sensory spaces for schools
- Community wellbeing programmes
- Neuroinclusive event education and training
By supporting grant funding opportunities, this role helps expand the reach and impact of that work.
Role OverviewThe Grant Funding Coordinator will support the research, preparation and administration of grant funding opportunities that align with Event Well’s mission and programmes.
Working closely with the Event Well leadership team, the role will help identify suitable funding opportunities and support the preparation of applications.
This is a part-time freelance role of approximately 4 hours per week with flexible working.
Key Responsibilities- Research grant opportunities from trusts, foundations and public funding bodies
- Identify funding aligned with Event Well’s work in neurodiversity, mental health and community wellbeing
- Maintain a simple funding opportunity tracker with deadlines and requirements
- Assist in drafting sections of grant applications
- Prepare supporting documentation and organisational information
- Coordinate information required for submissions
- Track grant deadlines and submission dates
- Record outcomes and feedback from applications
- Flag suitable funding opportunities to the Event Well team
- Support organisation of information required for reporting where grants are awarded
In this role we would expect to see:
- A clear and organised grant opportunity tracker
- Identification of relevant funding opportunities aligned with Event Well’s work
- Preparation of 1–2 grant applications per month where appropriate
- Strong organisation of deadlines and application materials
- Strong organisational and research skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Experience with grant applications or charity fundraising
- Interest in neurodiversity, mental health or social impact
- Experience working with charities, CICs or social enterprises

Role: Grant Funding Coordinator (Freelance)
Hours: Approx. 4 hours per week (flexible)
Rate: £18–£20 per hour
Location: Remote
Contract: Freelance / Self-Employed (Outside IR35)
