Position: 239508 (KA) Waiting List Co-Ordinator
Location: City of Edinburgh

To provide a full efficient and effective booking service to support the delivery of the clinical service and enabling best utilisation of clinical time in connection with NHS Lothian theatre scheduling.

The post holder has specific responsibility and accountability for all waiting list data for lists they are responsible for and will monitor, collect and analyse waiting list information and will also escalate any issues to the Assistant Waiting List Manager.

As part of the Inpatient Waiting List Team within NHS Lothian ensures the effective delivery of waiting list management in line with NHS Lothians Standard Operating Procedure.

As from 1 st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
