We are located at the foot of the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh and our bright, air‑conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry‑leading standards, with in‑house laboratory facilities and state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment including digital X‑ray and ultrasound for onsite clinical workups.
Aboutyou
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Straiton Vets for Pets.
You will help ensure a high standard of care for patients and clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You must be comfortable leading by example, have great communication and organisation skills, and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in learning about the practice as a business and how to contribute to the team to help achieve personal and practice goals.
Ideally you will have experience in a Registered Nurse role.
Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

This is a full‑time position working 40 hours a week but we are willing to consider candidates who can work only part time. The practice opening hours are 08:30 am – 07:00 pm Monday to Saturday.
