LF - Clinical Forensic Nurse

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

• Carry out initial assessments of detainees to identify any pressing medical needs, determine fitness to detain, fit for interview, fit for custody, fit for release, and fit for court while in the custody of Police Scotland, utilizing Forensic Medical Examiner opinion when required.
• Travel throughout the South East of Scotland Region when required, as determined by service needs.

• Current membership of the PVG Scheme for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult). If not a current member, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before commencing the post.
