Colinton Care Home, located in Edinburgh, provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative Care in a warm and welcoming environment. Contract

Registered Nurse Contract

  • £22.60 per hour
  • 33.75 hours per week – Night shift
  • Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Responsibilities

Working closely with the wider care team, you will be responsible for assessing needs, administering medication, monitoring physical and emotional wellbeing and ensuring care plans are followed accurately and safely. Alongside providing hands-on nursing care, you will help guide colleagues throughout each shift, respond confidently to changing resident needs and help maintain the high standards that allow the home to consistently deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN is essential
  • Previous nursing experience within a care home or healthcare environment is beneficial
  • Strong clinical knowledge with confidence administering medication and supporting care planning
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions while responding effectively to changing needs
  • Strong communication skills with ability to support residents, families and colleagues professionally
  • Compassionate, dependable and professional approach with genuine commitment to delivering exceptional care
