Applications are welcome for the above permanent, full time post in our North Edinburgh Out-Patient Team based in Pennywell All Care Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking registered mental health or learning disability nurse who wishes to contribute to our vision of “Getting it right for every child” and young person with mental health problems and neurodevelopmental differences. There are opportunities to develop skills in the assessment and treatment of a range of mental health presentations such as eating disorders, mood and psychotic disorders as well as neurodevelopmental presentations.

There are excellent opportunities for further career development through our nursing clinical career pathways.
Post holders who are new to CAMHS will have the opportunity to undertake the NES “New to CAMHS” training over a 12 month period. NHS Lothian CAMHS has it’s own training budget and regularly organises internal and external training events for CAMHS clinicians.
Our home is in Edinburgh, one of the best cities to live in the UK. A vibrant city of festivals and culture, sport and history, breath taking historic landmarks with glorious countryside and sailing at Port Edgar just 30mins from the City Centre. Excellent rail links via East Coast Line and an International Airport of Scotland. Yet a few miles away you could not be further from the city in the beautiful Pentland Hills or picturesque seaside towns of East Lothian.
