Spire Murrayfield Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Part Time Clinical Nurse Specialist - Breast Cancer to join their team on a permanent basis. We are keen to invite an experienced nurse to provide expert support and care coordination for patients throughout their breast cancer pathway.

Duties and responsibilities;
Acting as the patient's main point of contact
Providing information about diagnosis, treatment options, and side effects
Offering emotional and psychological support to patients and families
Coordinating care between surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, GPs, and other professionals
Supporting patients during systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT), surgery, radiotherapy, and follow-up care
Facilitating access to support services, benefits advice, rehabilitation, and support programmes
Who we're looking for
NMC Registered with high level interpersonal and communication skills to be able to manage complex or distressing and emotional conversations
Extensive post registration experience, typically at Band 6 with a clinical background in breast care, oncology, surgery or palliative care
An understanding of the breast cancer disease trajectory and systemic/ surgical treatments Benefits
