We are seeking experienced Band 6 Neonatal Nurses and Midwives to support a busy Neonatal Unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, family-centred care to premature and sick newborn infants, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialist neonatal nursing care to newborn infants requiring intensive, high-dependency, or special care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
- Monitor and manage infants requiring respiratory support, feeding support, and other specialist interventions.
- Support parents and families throughout the infant's care journey.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with neonatologists, midwives, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Registered Nurse (NMC Registered).
- Neonatal nursing experience at Band 6 level.
- Neonatal qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with in NICU, HDU, or SCBU settings.
- Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills.
- Neonatal Intensive Care Course (QIS Neonatal).
- Experience with ventilated infants
