TEAM LEADER & GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVES – EDINBURGH

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Team leader and mobile grounds maintenance operative positions for the start of the new season (March). The role is based in Edinburgh and surrounding areas, with a mobile work environment on multiple commercial sites such as retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools & colleges, and public parks.

• Manage a small team of grounds maintenance operatives.
• Lead mobile rounds across multiple sites, performing planned maintenance and reactive work.
• Ensure customer service interactions to maintain client satisfaction.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment checks.
• Work independently or within a small team to meet site requirements.

• Experience managing a small team.
• Commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping background.
• Proficiency with hand‑held power tools (petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Pay range £30k‑£40k based on 48 hr per week (annualised hours programme); overtime may be available at a premium rate but not guaranteed.
