Manpower UK seeks a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader for a permanent position in Edinburgh, offering £14-£15 per hour. Working Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30, you will supervise a small crew while actively contributing to tasks such as grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian machinery, strimming, hedge trimming, shrub care, and litter collection. Candidates need prior grounds maintenance experience plus at least two years in a supervisory or team leader capacity within this sector or a related field.
A safety-conscious approach and practical mindset are essential. Training will be provided to support your development in this role.

As a Team Leader you will be supervising your small team and working alongside them to provide various grounds maintenance services in Edinburgh. Grass cutting (ride on and pedestrian), strimming, shrub and border maintenance, hedge cutting, litter picking. Requirements- Prior experience within Grounds Maintenance with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor position within Grounds Maintenance or a similar industry, 2 year preferred.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard, with a good eye for detail.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- The ability to be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team.
- Proficient in problem solving and dealing with complex situations.
- Reliable, energetic and enthusiastic with a determined, flexible and can-do attitude.
- Experience of Ride-On mower.
- A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
- PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage.
