We re looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly bank team at PDSA Edinburgh. If you like variety, want to keep your clinical skills sharp and are looking for flexible work that really makes a difference, this could be a great fit. As a Bank Vet at PDSA, you ll pick up shifts that work around your life, joining a supportive team to help care for pets and owners who really need our help.

You ll be comfortable stepping into a busy hospital and handling a wide range of medical and surgical cases, using your clinical confidence to make sound, evidence-based decisions. You re happy discussing realistic treatment options with clients, creating clear plans that balance best practice with each owner s circumstances, and you take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to doing what s right for every pet.

Strong communication skills are important, you ll build trust quickly with clients and slot in smoothly alongside colleagues.

You ll be a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment where people share knowledge and help each other out. Whether you re topping up your hours, balancing other commitments or easing back into clinical work, you ll be part of an experienced, caring team that values what you bring.

Our Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
