The Role
As HSE Manager, you will support a number of projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety & Environmental Management systems. You will report to the Head of HSE for your area. Supporting HSE Advisors, site teams and managers through your inspections by recognising hazards, seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, maintaining and improving the health, safety & environmental standards.
Championing HSE initiatives in the region whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.
- Support the provision of Health & Wellbeing within the business, under the direction of the Head of HSE & HSE Director, with the support of the Company H&W Advisor
- Support the communication and promotion of the monthly themes
- Promote the value of occupational health at a regional level
- Provide consistent and accurate HSE advice to HSE Advisors and Site Teams where applicable
- Render support to the region on HSE initiatives/issues and problems
- Produce regional HSE statistics monthly, identify trends and take proactive initiatives
- Line manage HSE Advisors under your control and mentor them to support professional development
- Provide Client support for the region under your control
- Attend Client HSE Forums as required and provide lessons learnt feedback and sharing of best practices
