Do you have a recent qualification in a recent qualification, such as degree, apprenticeship, HNC in metalwork, manufacturing or similar? If so, please read on!

We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector, with training provided, to join our team at Honeywell, in West Edinburgh, where you will conduct in-depth inspections on small electronic components used in radar and comms equipment, analyse data, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure compliance. This is not a full quality engineering role, but an inspection position.

We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection of incoming and outgoing material
  • Inspection using traditional inspection techniques for mechanical parts
  • Inspection of WIP for issues identified
  • Support Production and Engineering on Quality performance investigations
Key Skills And Qualifications
  • Full right to work in the UK without the need of sponsorship
  • Lives within an easy commute to our West Edinburgh offices
  • A recent qualification, such as degree, apprenticeship, HNC in metalwork, Manufacturing or similar OR a proven record of inspection using manual inspection techniques or CMM, previous skills working within an Inspection environment
  • Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination
