Position: Quality Coordinator - Data Centres (Nordics)
Location: City of Edinburgh

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role in the delivery of one of our biggest data centre construction projects in Finland. The successful candidate will be based either 100% in country, or will require significant international travel to Finland (11/3 rotations).

Role Accountabilities Planning and Preparation
  • Take the lead on Quality Management for the Project, acting as interface between the Client and the Contractors Quality Teams.
  • Direct on-site resources and ensure quality events and benchmarks are organised and results recorded in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, develop and deliver the overall Quality Management Plan in compliance with the Owners specifications.
  • Communicate all quality specifications to all service providers, equipment manufacturers, integrators, the Specialty Package Contractors and the Commissioning Agent.
  • Establish project specific requirements in relation to Factory Witness Testing and manage the planning and execution of off-site quality activities.
Execution
  • Ensure all stakeholders are trained and aware of the process and monitor for compliance.
  • Monitor and confirm that contractors Quality Control plans are in place and effective, and that quality standards meet the project contract requirements.
  • Direct on-site resources and ensure quality events and benchmarks are organised and results recorded in a timely manner.
Quality Culture
  • Promote a culture of Quality and train all operatives on Quality Culture as part of their initial induction to the construction project, including off-site project team members such as integrator contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive experience in a Quality Manager role on major construction projects.
  • Experience working on data centre/technology projects preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments.
