We're working with an innovative and rapidly growing Scottish engineering business that designs and manufactures specialist access solutions used across major industrial, infrastructure, marine and energy projects. With increasing demand and continued expansion, they're looking to appoint a Quality Coordinator to help strengthen and embed quality standards across the organisation.

Working closely with warehouse, operations and manufacturing teams, you'll introduce practical QA/QC processes, support inspections and testing activities, maintain certification records, and help drive a quality-focused culture throughout the business.

What you'll be doing:
  • Coordinating QA/QC activities across operations and manufacturing
  • Inspecting incoming materials and components against specifications and drawings
  • Managing material certifications and quality documentation
  • Supporting testing, inspections and product verification activities
  • Developing and implementing practical quality procedures, SOPs and checklists
  • Training and supporting colleagues on quality processes
  • Working closely with operational teams to continuously improve standards
  • Issuing and maintaining quality certification records
What we're looking for:
  • Experience with in engineering, fabrication, steelwork, manufacturing or a similar technical environment
  • Knowledge of QA/QC processes and quality documentation
  • Ability to develop and implement straightforward, effective procedures
  • A practical, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to work across multiple departments
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to occasionally visit suppliers
