Compliance Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Compliance Engineer to join our Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in quality systems, auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our management systems within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

As Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting quality and compliance activities, coordinating audits, managing calibration programmes, conducting investigations, and ensuring ongoing compliance with industry standards such asAS
9100andNADCAP.

• Support qualification and validation activities.
• Review and approve Control of Change documentation where required.
• Deliver quality inductions and compliance training.
• Attend SQDCP meetings and elevate quality issues as necessary.

• Plan and conduct internal audits across multiple sites.
• Support teams in resolving non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist with external audits, including customer, BSI, and NADCAP audits.
• Conduct competency audits and monitor compliance.
• Develop Annual Quality Plans (AQP) for periodic testing.
• Report testing performance and results at quality meetings.
• Lead investigations into test failures using structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and 5 Why analysis.

• Initiate and coordinate specification reviews.
• Maintain specification indexes and controlled documentation.
• Raise and manage requests for specification amendments.

• Coordinate internal and external calibration activities, including TUS calibrations.
• Maintain calibration schedules and records within Q-Pulse.
• Ensure equipment remains compliant and fit for purpose.

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance standards (AS9100, NADCAP or similar)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with in a quality, compliance, engineering, or health and safety environment
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies

• Internal auditing experience
• Experience with in aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or other regulated industries
• Experience using Q-Pulse or similar quality management systems
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
