Hours:
35 contracted hours per week
Salary:
Up to £36,099.21 per annum (depending on experience), plus £2,280 per annum car allowance. You may also be eligible for a geographical allowance of £1,051 per annum, where applicable.

As part of our continued investment in delivering high-quality homes and services, we're excited to be recruiting for Property Services Quality Officers to join our growing Property Services team.
This newly available position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced property professionals to play a key role in ensuring our homes remain safe, well-maintained and compliant, while helping to deliver positive outcomes for our customers.
Working closely with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders, you'll oversee the quality and delivery of repairs, maintenance and void property programmes, ensuring high standards of property condition, customer satisfaction and operational performance are achieved.
What you'll be doing- Conduct inspections of void properties and specify repair and maintenance requirements
- Undertake pre- and post-work inspections to ensure works are completed to the required quality standards
- Investigate building defects and maintenance issues, supporting effective resolution
- Monitor contractor performance against agreed quality, cost and service standards
- Support annual Fire Risk Assessment reviews and property compliance activity
- Oversee repairs and maintenance works across Advance properties and offices
- Maintain accurate records and analyse performance information within housing management systems
- Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints relating to property maintenance
- Contribute to service improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across Property Services
We're looking for someone who has:
Essential- Experience working within construction, property maintenance, responsive repairs or a recognised building trade
- Strong knowledge of building construction methods, repair techniques and quality standards
- Ability to identify defects, diagnose repair issues and specify appropriate remedial works
- Budget management experience within reactive maintenance repairs
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing/property management systems
- Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
- A customer-focused approach and ability to build effective working relationships
- Full UK Driving Licence
- HNC/HND in Building Studies, Construction, Surveying or Property Maintenance, or substantial relevant experience within a recognised building trade
- Knowledge of housing legislation
- Fire Risk Assessor qualification
- Experience of working with people with a range of support needs

Additional Information- This is a hybrid role, with regular travel required to properties within your allocated region of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Essex and occasional team meetings.
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
