Molecular biology of Motor Neuron Disease. Where curiosity becomes impact.
The Opportunity
We invite you to join Dr Chris Sibley’s research group as a research assistant. Your role will involve investigating the relevance of multiple targets of the TDP‑43 protein during early disease stages and developing corrective approaches to rescue disease biology in clinically relevant human stem cell models. You will work with human induced pluripotent stem cell models and perform molecular biology techniques such as cloning and qPCR, supported by senior technical staff.
This position offers full‑time employment (35 hours per week) on a fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2029, at a salary band of £34,610–£39,906 per annum.
