Responsibilities
- Understand the role of autophagy and lysosomal degradation in aging and aging-related diseases.
- Investigate key events during autophagy initiation, progression, and lysosomal degradation.
- Uncover molecular events underlying lysosomal degradation of autophagic cargo using a combination of cell biology and biochemical techniques.
- Completed a PhD degree (or anticipate to obtain one in the near future).
- Good publication record.
- Experience in basic molecular techniques.
- Excellent technical skills.
- Ability to design, execute and interpret experiments.
- Creative thinking.
- Good presentation skills.
- Problem solving.
- Self-motivation.
- Critical analyses.
