- Develop, influence, lead and deliver local and national PPI strategy for the Cancer Research UK Scotland Centre
- Embed PPI in fundamental and translational cancer research
- Improve the quality and impact of cancer research
- Provide specialist expertise, knowledge and support for research and funding applications
- Work collaboratively across the Cancer Research UK Scotland Centre and its partners
- Integrate the lived experiences of cancer patients and the public into scientific research
- Support relevant, ethical research focused on patient priorities
- Specialist expertise in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in research
- Ideally a minimum of 4 years’ experience within Patient and Public Involvement in Research
- Successful PVG and Disclosure Scotland check
- Evidence of right to work in the UK
- Applicants must have an alternative right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available
- CV and cover letter required
Demonstrates extensive expertise in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) within cancer research, focusing on integrating patient experiences into scientific studies and improving research quality and impact. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across research centers and support ethical research aligned with patient priorities.
