ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you a driven scientist with a passion for Biophysics and Protein Science? A leading company in the scientific industry is seeking a Senior Scientist / Associate Principal Scientist to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. Key

duties and responsibilities:
  • Deliver Biophysics and Protein Science projects, generating high-quality data and insights.
  • Lead small-to-medium client projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to support project goals.
  • Occasionally travel, including visits to the Chapel-en-le-Frith site.
    • Skills and experience:
  • Relevant degree in a related field (PhD preferred or equivalent experience).
  • Proven industry experience in Biophysical techniques and Protein Production.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with leading scientific projects and making recommendations for capability development.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring, training, or supporting junior scientists is desirable.
