Overview

The Hoxton, Edinburgh is seeking a Chef de Partie to keep the kitchen running, ensure high standards and anticipate guest needs for early morning breakfast shifts. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll be responsible for providing a highly efficient and effective service and maintaining standards.

We’ve opened our doors in Edinburgh’s charming West End. The Hoxton comprises 11 Georgian townhouses and offers 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all-day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro-inspired cinema, a flexible event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment for meetings and private dinners.

Patatino is our all-day Italian trattoria serving fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas and Italian wines. Inspired by the Amalfi coast, it’s a spot for long, joyful meals with bold style and personality.

What You Will Do
  • Bring delicious flavours to our guests’ tables by running a section in our busy kitchen.
  • Nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment where they can be themselves and perform at their best.
  • Ensure smooth operations: orders and deliveries flow as needed, service is seamless, and food hygiene standards are sky-high.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on ideas and techniques to keep the kitchen creative and adaptable, delivering top-quality food.
  • Ensure statutory compliance in all food and drink-related areas.
  • Pay attention to detail to ensure every dish served is of high quality.
