A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL What you'll be doing...- Lead and oversee the daily restaurant operations, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
- Inspire, manage, and develop the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service at all times.
- Drive service standards, maintaining a welcoming, professional, and premium atmosphere throughout the restaurant.
- Monitor reservations, seating plans, and service flow to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and high-quality food delivery.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism, resolving concerns quickly and positively.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency to meet financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company policies.
- Oversee cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of the restaurant environment.
- Proven experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of budgeting and cost control.
- Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining exceptional standards.
- Dedication to creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.
