As a Demi Chef de Partie
, you'll be an important part of the kitchen team at Commons Club, our vibrant Scottish brasserie that celebrates the very best of Scotland's seasonal produce. Working alongside talented chefs, you'll help deliver exceptional food and memorable dining experiences while developing your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

The Details:What exactly you will be doing…
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen and your designated section.
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with food production in line with recipes and quality standards.
- Working closely with senior chefs to deliver outstanding food during service.
- Keeping your section fully stocked, organised, and service-ready at all times.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and organisation throughout the kitchen.
- Ensuring all food is stored, labelled, and handled in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Building your culinary skills through ongoing training, coaching, and hands-on learning.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the kitchen and wider hotel team to create a seamless guest experience.
- Identifying and reporting any maintenance, equipment, or health and safety concerns promptly.
- Supporting the team during busy services, special events, and peak trading periods.
- Taking initiative, anticipating operational needs, and contributing positively to the success of the team.
- Maintaining professional presentation standards and adhering to all hotel policies and procedures.
